We Have Not Started The Sales of 2017 UTME Forms – JAMB


The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has pleaded with the general public not to honor the speculations regarding the sales of 2017 UTME form.

Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the board’s Head, Media and Information, refuted the speculations publicly on Sunday, December 4, in Lagos.

Going by the statement, the Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, expressed disappointment with the news going around and pleaded with Nigerians to ignore the claims.

The statement reads: “The public is hereby notified that JAMB has not commenced the sales of its application documents as advertised by some unknown and desperate persons”.

“They are to disregard any website or individuals claiming to be in possession of these documents and offering same for sales”.

“We are putting finishing touches to innovation and changes to ease the challenges associated with the procedure of application for the 2017 all Computer-Based Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination”.

the statement quoted the registrar as saying: “We are looking forward to announcing the commencement of the sales of these documents very soon”.

The statement said the doors of the JAMB board are always open to the public for clarity on the the activities going on in the board whenever in doubt.

Dr. Fabian Benjamin, said that the use of scratch cards has been abolished, saying that intending candidates to get prepared for the new approach.
