The thing with depression, and any other form of mental health problem you face when living with chronic illness, is that it can potentially cause more damage to your health. You can decide to let it consume you, or you can start setting intentions against depression today.
Always remember that depression is not peculiar to you. Statics has shown that one third of people living with chronic illness experience depression. When you always condemn yourself for feeling depressed or being sick, you will only feel worse. You're not the first to face the challenges you're presently facing and you'll not be the last either.
Many people have been able to live a satisfying life while coping with chronic illness and battling depression. But they didn't survive by beating themselves up. They held their heads high and continued with their lives.
