Fun card games for children
Children learn faster when they are given the necessary tools to do so.
Playing card games with children can help them to develop a sharper memory and a healthier mind. Below are a couple of card games that children can play to engage their young minds;
Crazy Eights
Crazy Eights game has always been a kiddies favorite and children today love it equally. The primary purpose of this game is to play the cards in hand first. To start, the dealer has to deal every player eight cards. The eight cards act as wild cards, while the twos force the subsequent player to pick up 2, and four forces the next player to forfeit a turn. Also, the Queen of spades forces the subsequent player to pick eight.

31 is a swift and easy card game for kids. The game requires basic addition since they will need to count up to 31. To begin, each player will get three cards face down. When dealt, the players have to look at their cards. Then they will then take a turn to pick a card from the stack in the middle and discard a card. The primary object of this game is to have 31 numbers in your hand first before other players. The card value is used only for counting. However, the Aces may be used as either 11 or 1.

Rummy
This kid’s card game is suited for children eight years or older. The aim of this game is to make melds using rankings or runs of same suit of cards. An instance will be 3, 3, 3 or 2h, 3h, 4h, 5h. Every player will start by receiving 9 cards, and the remaining cards will be placed at the center. The card from the pile in the center will be turned over as well. From there, the first player on the left from the dealer will begin by picking the center card or by selecting the first card at the top of the others. Players have to lay down the melds once they are built. The first kid to dispose of their cards wins.
