Tommy Mello, the renowned entrepreneur, was born and raised in Michigan State and moved to the state of Arizona in 1999.  Mello recently received a Master’s Degree in Business at the University of Arizona. He loves to help other around him to succeed and has been teaching other new business owners and experienced ones. He specializes in the service industry and has been able to provide answers to various questions that upcoming businesses require to solidify their presence in the industry. He prefers a different approach to hiring and training to offer all his employees the right tools to help them succeed.
Mello is also involved in different companies which range from real estate investment, garage doors, coaching programs to software. Mello holds himself to the industry's highest standards and defines success as running the most profitable businesses in a wide variety of industries. Building a team of skilled personnel allows him to thrive in the industry.
He is the founder of a lot of business ventures. One being the A1 Garage Door Services. Mello launched his business, A1 Garage Door Service back in 2007 while he was studying for his master’s degree in Business. The business is well-known as the foremost Phoenix garage door specialists. They are committed to providing the industry’s best service, accompanied by superior brands of quality garage doors, garage door openers, and overhead door parts.
Mello was in recent times named as a top entrepreneur by The Arizona Republic in Arizona while he was under the age of 35. The A1 Garage was given an award known as the Super Service Award which is given by Angie’s list sometime in 2012. The thriving business also recently earned an International Crime Prevention Specialist Certification.   AI Garage also maintains an unfiltered five-star status on Yelp, an A rating with Better Business Bureau, as well as a five-star Kudzu rating.
Mello started A1 with his own capital without any funding from any firm or individual. The entrepreneur is proud of his achievement as it has made him make trivia mistakes along the way rather than large scale ones as his business grew.  A1 is based mainly in Gilbert, AZ and the young entrepreneur currently has 30 employees under his wings.
Presently, he is planning to expand to Florida and Texas and enjoys practicing house flips during his free time.  When he makes out time, he travels as much he can to explore both his immediate environment and the world as a whole. He is also a fan of golfing.
