Dark Souls III: ‘Ashes of Ariandel' DLC to be Released in October
Fans of the "Dark Souls" franchise, have eagerly waited for the installment of "Dark Souls III".
Video game companies, Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have officially told fans the release date for its first DLC(downloadable content),"Ashes of Ariandel,". They also announced an expansion of their trailer.
Dark Souls III maintains FromSoftware’s track record of providing quality post game downloadable content assistance. Eric Hartness(vice president marketing department at Bandai Nameco) in a recent statement said. "With countless hours of new bosses, new challenges, new mysterious places to explore, new items, and new methods of challenging other players online, it is indeed the perfect time to go back into the best game of 2016.”
The details of this new environment is said to have a new map of Ariandel that is not too different from the Painted World of Ariamis. Features like the snowy terrain and even the enemy that players will face called the Crow Demon. Reporters speculate that this may be referenced to the Painted World controlled by powerful dragon-human crossbreed, called Priscilla.
Keep in mind that this is just a fun theory and is not official. Subsequently, it is advisable to keep your minds open for now. "Ashes of Ariandel," is only one out of the upcoming expansions for Dark Souls III. FromSoftware has not yet released any statement regarding the release of the second DLC.
For those fans who are still pretty excited about, "Ashes of Ariandel". You should know that it is scheduled to be installed on Xbox, PlayStation 4, and even one of Windows PC platforms through Valve's Steam by October 25th. It would cost $14.99 as a standalone purchase, but individuals can also choose to buy this one through the season pass that would be released by FormSoftware and Bandai Namco early next year.
