Features Of iOS 10 Beta: Redesigned Emoji, Revamped Keyboard Sounds, New Emoji Characters
Apple just announced the release of iOS 10 Beta to developers. This new iOS 10 comes with significant updates.
Apart from tiny tweaks and additions, Apple intends to refine the entire operating system preceding the release of the product this fall. Those who have previously updated the first three betas can get iOS 10 Beta over-the-air. If a person had already installed the beta configuration profile, they could also enjoy these new features.
A YouTube video has also been used by Apple as well to make the public aware of what has changed or has been added to the iOS 10. Some of these new features are as follows;
• Wallpaper: A mountain wallpaper with stars which was removed from the previous iOS has been re-added due to popular demand.
• Emoji: Some emoji characters that promote gender equality were added as well. Activity emojis are available in both female and male options.
• Accessibility: Rather than color grids, a color filter option has been added. The filters include colored pencils. This gives users a better picture of how individual settings are displayed on Apple devices.
• Home: The home app icon located in the control center have been tweaked as well.
• Haptic feedback: There is no longer a haptic feedback when locking the iPhone device. This feature was previously added to iOS 3.
• Control Center: users can now access control cards by swiping left on the intro screen.
• Keyboard sounds: The keyboard sounds have been tweaked slightly. The backspace key now has a unique sound which is entirely different from other keys. Space has a new sound, and so does return, shift, return, emoji shift.
• Notification center: swiping right, users can access a widget screen notification center. This was not available in the previous versions.
